RABIES ALERT

Residents in the Lithonia area near Chupp Way Circle should be aware that a stray feline was submitted for rabies testing on May 4, 2026. On May 5, 2026, test results revealed the cat to be POSITIVE for RABIES.

Request Form

This form can be used to submit an online animal service request. 

Animal Service Request Form submissions are monitored during business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00 pm. Submissions sent after 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, on weekends and holidays will be reviewed on the next business day. If your animal-related matter is urgent and requires immediate attention, please contact the DeKalb County non-emergency response line at 678.406.7929.

Incessant/nuisance barking concerns should be directed to our Code Enforcement Division as noise violations are addressed by their team. Code Enforcement can be reached at 404.687.3700 or codeenforce@dekalbcountyga.gov.
